Her first book ANIMAL WISDOM, is a collection of stories gathered
from actual conversations with animals she has met through her private practice.
In fact, the inspiration to finish the book came directly from an Arabian mare named Porcia.
Porcia lived on a farm about a mile from the Curtis farm and was not only one
of Curtis’ earliest clients, but was also a major force in her life.
Curtis began her studies in communicating with Dr Jeri Ryan, a protégé of
Penelope Smith. Curtis has taken many courses and workshops with Smith in California and
New York, and continues to grow in her skills and knowledge.
Along with her private consultations, which range from goldfish to horses,
Curtis appears frequently on radio and television, has been featured in magazine and
newspaper articles and writes and distributes a newsletter.
